COVID-19 Protocols

Health, safety and cleanliness have always been my highest priority. Due to Covid 19 my studio is now taking extra steps to prevent the risk of transmission of infection. Rest assured we are doing everything possible to create a clean and sterile environment for your safety. Please make sure you read and understand our new shop protocols before your appointment. If you have any questions or concerns feel free to reach out to me directly at tattoo@genevalhaley.com. We share our studio with someone who is immunocompromised so your compliance with our health and safety measures are imperative.

 

Appointment Etiquette

  1. If you are experiencing any symptoms of illness like sore throat, cough, fever, headache, etc. you must contact your artist to reschedule. If you come to your appointment with even mild symptoms you will be sent home. 

  2. Come alone to your appointment. Only artists and booked clients will be admitted into the shop until further notice. Any unconfirmed guests will not be permitted to enter. 

  3. Sanitize your hands and phone with the provided supplies upon entering. Feel free to wash your hands or use sanitizer at any point throughout your appointment.

  4. Due to the intimate nature of tattooing, we require you wear a mask while being tattooed. Please bring your own if possible. If you are unable to bring your own we will provide you with a disposable mask.

  5. Although our shop is small we ask you to still do your best to keep social distancing in mind where possible Please keep your distance from other artists and clients.

  6. Please limit unessential outside items such as food and drink when possible. We do recommend that you eat a  filling meal and are well hydrated before your appointment. If you need to bring any extra items (such as water bottles or snacks) we may ask you to sanitize them before use. 

  7. Avoid touching your face or any unnecessary items during your session, if you do, please sanitize immediately.

  8. We have always been a cash only shop. This is still our preferred method of payment. Please be prepared to go to an ATM near by during the day of your appointment. If you are uncomfortable paying with or handling cash please talk to your artist about alternative measures before your appointment.

  9. If you have chosen to use the ABTraceTogether or Canada's COVID 19 app please make sure it is activated while you are in the shop.

  10. Each artist may have extra requirements besides those listed above based on their own health preferences. If you are unable to meet your artists health requirements they have the right to refuse service at any time.
